I am Stephen Thomas – Your Neighbourhood Real Estate Broker™

I grew up in The Greens of St. George’s in the Edenbridge–Humber Valley area, Etobicoke — a community that I still call home today with my wife, Lina, and our family.

After studying at the University of Toronto and before becoming a Real Estate Broker, I studied in the Certified General Accounting program to strengthen my business foundation. When I bought and sold my first property, I quickly saw how many moving parts were involved—financing, inspections, negotiations, staging, legal work, moving, to name a few, while then also having to find trusted resources—I thought of how a more managed process could have made the experience streamlined and more complete. That’s what inspired me to create this platform: A Full Home Selling/Buying Service that is Fully managed! Next, the investor in me worked to keep commission costs low while not compromising on services and thus, the idea of RateReturn was born!

Lina Thomas, my wife and business partner with a Bachelor of Commerce, is a former award-winning Realtor (2017 – Keller Williams Neighbourhood Realty Brokerage Ltd., for outstanding sales performance) and now acts as my Senior Assistant and Resource Manager. With a background in décor and aesthetics, Lina coordinates our "Smoke & Mirrors" simple staging service, as well as referral services. She is the perfect complement to my business—adding strength, support, and many valuable layers to my vision as a Realtor!
